The simple things are, the better, right? The SF-140 is very simple in design and is easy to put together. To top it all, it has good functionality.
It uses the same amount of water that you would have to use if you were hauling around a bucket.
The advantage with this mop is that it uses real steam to not just clean, but also sanitize your floors. It reaches deep down within cracks and the spaces between kitchen tiles to clean and remove stubborn dirt and stains. It can work on hardwood, linoleum, tile, marble and practically all types of flooring.
It has a 1000 watt motor that generates real steam from an 8.5 oz water tank. Steam based cleaning has a very big advantage. You don't have to put up with the fumes and strong smells of harsh chemicals or disinfectants. Some of the cleaning formulations that are available at supermarkets may contain chemicals that leave a residue on the floors. These chemicals can be harmful for children, pets and people with allergies.
The SF-140 cleans, removes stains and sanitizes without the use of any harmful chemicals, disinfectants or floor cleaners.
The package ships with two microfiber cloth pads that are reusable and can be easily washed.
Summary
The SF-140 Steam Mop does what it is supposed to very well. It mops the floor using steam. Lightweight and simple in design, the mop is very easy to use. It can be conveniently stored away in a closet or within a cupboard when not in use.
There were very few users who are totally dissatisfied with the mop. Most users felt that the mop does a good job of cleaning floors. On the downside, users felt that the mop's power cord could have been a little longer. Certain users also observed that after using the mop the floors took a long time to dry. In order to use the mop effectively it is a good idea to read the instruction booklet first.
The majority of users feel that considering the fact that the mop is so inexpensive it does a decent job.
