The Euro-Pro S3501 Shark Deluxe Steam Mop is powered by a 1550 watt heater that generates steam in just 30 seconds. The steam loosens the toughest of dirt from tile, linoleum, marble and most sealed floor types.

It has an ergonomic design and as it weighs just 3 lbs it can be moved around very easily. The mop head uses attached machine washable microfiber pads that help to absorb dirt from the floor. The mop also doubles up as a carpet cleaner. It ships with a carpet glider that you can use in place of the microfiber pads when you need to clean your carpet.

There are a lot of mops that leave your floor wet. This mop uses the minimum amount of steam to sweep floors, so the floor is supposed to dry out in very little time. One thoughtful feature is that steam is generated by moving the mop forward. There are no buttons to press or things you have to pull to release steam.

Not only does it sweep the floor and mop up spills, the superheated steam sanitizes floors. You don't have to use chemicals, harsh disinfectants or floor cleaners that may contain substances that are harmful. No more chemical residues on the floor. This steam mop is safe for children, people prone to allergies or pets.

Summary

User feedback is varied on this mop. A number of users feel that the mop does a good job and replaces the typical mop and bucket. Other users feel that mop is good for the occasional spill and is no replacement for a bucket and mop or getting down on your knees and scrubbing the floor.
