It features a Dirtlifter PowerBrush, bare floor tool and cleaning solutions for fiber and hard floors. Using the 2090 is very easy. Just fill the half gallon tank with water and use the rotating Powerbrush to clean out carpets. The steamcleaner lifts dirt from deep within the carpets and makes them look fresh and new.
Need to clean the floor? Just snap on the floor cleaning tool and you are ready to mop the floor with this easy to use cleaning tool. It is a multi-surface cleaner with which you can clean upholstery, stairs, bathroom tiles and other surfaces besides carpeted areas and bare floors.
Because of its large wheels and easy maneuverability, mopping doesn't seem to be a chore anymore. The dirt is collected in the easy to empty water tank
Summary
As per user feedback this is a great little cleaner for small homes and small rooms. It does a good job of cleaning up the carpet and bare floors. Annoying spills in the kitchen or bathroom can be easily mopped up with this useful cleaning tool. Inexpensive, easy to store and convenient to use, the Quicksteamer 2090 replaces a mop and a bucket.
On the flip side users opine that the water in the tank needs to be replaced and the dirty water needs to be emptied, quite frequently. It is recommended that you use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt from the carpet and floors before you use this tool. Vacuuming will remove lint, pet hair, dirt and allergens. Use this tool after you have vacuumed the carpet.

I Am Impressed!!

Reviewer: Adrian,
I have used a Bissell Pro Heat Steam Cleaner before. I wasn't sure if this smaller simpler model would do as good of a job. I think it does just as good as the Pro Heat model and it is lighter and easier to use!! I love it!! I can't believe how much grime it got off of my kitchen floor. It doesn't leave very much water at all on the floor, it was dry by the time I got half way across the kitchen. I think it feels sturdy and well made like the bigger model. It also did an excellent job on the carpet. It dried pretty quickly too with the help of a fan. It is also easy to clean. I am Impressed.

Love this cleaner - and it didn't kill my back!

I recently purchased this upright Bissell cleaner after relying on my Bissell spot cleaner for 8 years. The problem that I had with the spot cleaner is that to really get into those tough stains, my back would pay the price for it later. The early models of Bissell spot cleaners didn't have SpotBot technology, so that meant getting on your hands and knees in order to get those really tough stains out. I've got a 16 month old puppy, and needless to say, I have had my share of straining my back to clean up after the little tyke. I read the reviews on some of the Bissell lightweight uprights, and since this model has a rotating brush, I decided to give it a try. I was conflicted between the SpotBot units and this one, but I decided to go for this upright because it can cover more carpet area at one go since it is an upright. There is absolutely no buyer's remorse here - the cleaner not only is very lightweight so as to not strain my back, it is easy to use and very powerful for such a light machine. The rotating brush is a huge help because it gets into those tough pet stains, and my carpet now looks like I don't even own a pet. Getting the unit ready for storage is easy too, because they have made the holding tank and spray nozzle very easy to remove and rinse out. Even if you don't have children or pets, this cleaner is great to just freshen up high traffic areas, and I can see myself using this to freshen up the house after dinner parties, getting rooms prepared for guests, etc. Also, the cleaning solutions that are available for purchase are concentrated - this means that you will pay for a reasonably sized bottle, but it takes very little cleansing solution to get the job done, so that a bottle of solution will last through many cleanings. And the biggest advantage is that you don't have to kill your back to get a stain out! :)
Great little cleaner!

Perspective: We have the Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner with Clean Surge, F5914-900, which is excellent for deep cleaning carpeting, steps and upholstery. It is heavy to move up and down stairs, however, and a lot of trouble to drag out, fill and use for a minor dog accident on the rug.
We also have a Bissell 1425B Little Green Proheat Turbo Carpet Cleaner (same price and about the same weight as the upright Quicksteamer) that we have not found to be particularly efficient with dog accidents, and it requires a lot of arm power while down on hands and knees.
This little Bissell 2090 Quicksteamer Multi-Surface Deep Cleaner is terrific for taking care of dog accidents. I can carry it up or down stairs with one hand. The solution and recovery tanks are very easy to fill, install, remove, empty and rinse out. They hold enough to clean a 10 X 12 bedroom that is lightly soiled.
The suction is not as strong as a machine with a larger motor, but it is strong enough to pick up 90% of the cleaning water if you go back and forth over the saturated area repeatedly until you NO LONGER SEE WATER BEING DRAWN INTO THE RECOVERY TANK. (This is another advantage - you can watch the solution recovery process during use.) I recommend this cleaner as a supplement to a full-size carpet cleaner, and an alternative to the Little Green-style cleaners. Will return with hard floor cleaning comments.
